Surf Anonymously

Here is a neat trick to surf the net anonymously and visit sites or watch videos that are blocking your country or IP Address using Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. What you need to do right now is:

1. Open any Web Broswer (i.e. chrome,firefox,opera,safari,internet explorer)
2. Go to http://hidemyass.com/proxy-list/
3. ENTER the port 8080 and click Update Results
4. Scroll down and you will see a long list of IP's
5. Choose one of the IP address that you want to use
6. Copy the IP Address that you've chosen

Chrome

• Go to Google chrome's Settings > Options > Show advanced settings..
• Under Network click Change proxy settings
• You should be on the Connections tab
• Click on Lan settings and Click the box Proxy server
• Pase the IP Address that you copied earlier and change the port to 8080.
• Click Ok

Firefox

• Go to Options > Advanced
• Click Network tab > Click on Settings under connection
• Click on Manual proxy configuration
• Enter the IP Address that you've copied and change the port to 8080
• Click Ok

You're done! to check if you have successfully changed your IP, go to http://www.whatismyip.com/. This method can also allows you to browse sites that are blocking your country/ip.
